And our teacher, Hezi, often has us compete against other students in the class to see who can knock each other down...

And at the end of class we play games... 

in this one we had to see who could leap over the ties the furthest

And this was a group game of tug o' war against our two teachers, Hezi and Courtney.

I made some beautiful artwork this year.  I love my art teacher, Mrs. Echivaria, and she comes up with the coolest art projects!!

This day's project was toucans.  See!  I drew a toucan!!  

We had this paper that was like canvas and we drew these with pencil.

 These are our Russian nesting dolls.  We did these because Mrs. Echivaria really likes them :)

This is my self portraits.  It says "don't" because my shirt said "Don't forget to be awesome!"

This one is.... uh....uh...uh... I can't remember.

These were our California bears.  

Everyone did the same flag for their project and we drew them with colored pencils.

These were our cardinals.  We did these with pastel.

These are our 3-D flowers. We painted and then cut out pieces and glued them on.

This one was my favorite.  It was really fun to make and I did this in pastel.

I did really awesome in 4th grade!!  I got almost straight A's (with only 1 or 2 B+'s) and I got several awards!!
My favorite one came at the end of the year when my artwork won for the cover of the yearbook!!

A few weeks earlier I also won a "busy bee" that my teacher Mrs. Martilik recommended me for.

At the end of the year our teacher gives out awards and this is what i got. 

My teacher made acrostic poems for each student. 

She also gave individual awards to each student, one serious and one funny.

My serious one was for excellence in language arts,

The other one she gave me was the Oscar award because I was always singing and dancing.

 I hope I win a bunch of awards in 5th grade, too!!

ROAD TRIP!!

Mom and I took a super cool road trip!!  We drove to Sacramento to visit my mom's best friend Taani and her daughter, Winter, and her husband, Wes.  And after that we went to Monterey and did some cool stuff there!!

We hung out in Hangtown with Winter and Chewbacca...

We met all their critters...

This happy couple is Razor and pregnant Willow. 

By the time my mom got around to writing this Willow had her 5 puppies.

As we left Placerville we stopped off at the best donut shop ever on earth with the freshest hot mini donuts.  This is the same place we visited on our school field trip and secretly I think we planned this entire trip around going back for more donuts.

It was a little rainy and cloudy on the way to Monterey...

We stayed at a kinda cheesy hotel but I really don't care because they had a pool!!!

And free breakfast!!

And then before we headed home we went to the aquarium!  It was super cool!!

So many awesome and crazy looking fish!!

I think we had a great time!!  Can't wait for the next adventure.
