Okay, stole this link from my sisters blog,
but check it out... how many of you are there?
I am the only one of me... married name, that is.

Although there was a girl with the exact same name that lived right across the street from me growing up... what are the odds? Well, the odds could be pretty good considering there are 137,986 people in the U.S. named Allison...

Paint the town with... footprints??
We went to Fire your Imagination today with Kathleen and Micheal!!
(It's just like Color Me Mine but a better selection).
Here's some pix from today's adventures...
Ever was less than thrilled...

but we had lots of fun and got super MESSY!
Not only did we paint our feet but our clothes
and our hands and our faces as well.
Michael, on the other hand, or foot as the case may be,
was far more cooperative...

and the final results... ta daa!!!

Okay, so they'll look better when they're fired.

Has anyone seen Mel??

I'm truly heartbroken. My baby cat Mel has decided to take a little wander... I was away last weekend and apparently something must have spooked him and I haven't seen him since. His sister Vina is looking all over for him and we've searched everywhere and put up many many flyers all over the neighborhood but he hasn't reappeared.... yet. Here's a few pix in hopes that he will return one day.... ~weep weep~
WE MISS YOU, MEL!!! PLEASE COME HOME!!!

Little Miss has recently learned to suck her thumb.
Hm... do you think thumb sucking is an inherited gene??

Do you think you know your sushi chef too well when he starts to make you sushi that looks like this?

Reminds me of Mr. Bill....
Don't eat me, don't eat me!

OOOOhhhhhh NOOooooo!!!

It's the GREAT Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!!
And I talked Michael and Julia into waiting in the
pumpkin patch for the Great Pumpkin to show up!

I was having a great time...

and Michael was waiting patiently...

but Julia was rather bummed when he didn't come!!

My mom and I went back a week later with Cousin Carly
and her Mom and Dad in case the Great Pumpkin showed up...

While we were waiting,
we found lots of stuff to keep us busy.
We visited the animals...

Nice teeth!!
No candy for you this year, Mr. Alpaca!!

I laughed with Aunt Julie...

Aunt Julie is REALLY fun to laugh with!!

We picked pumpkins...

We turned ourselves in to farm animals...

Carly and I even waited in the wagon and still,
no Great Pumpkin.

I had to come home and wait by the pumpkins
that we grew at my house!!

Okay, so Linus never found the Great Pumpkin and neither did we,
but we had a great time trying!
Maybe next year, Charlie Brown!!

New York, New York... it's a wonderful town...

Ever and I had a great time in the big apple...
(Did you notice us on the video screen in Times Square? heehee)
Ever is such a great travel companion!! She doesn't complain or whine or fuss (well okay, maybe once or twice) and she made hardly a peep on her first flights! In fact, she slept both ways. And speaking of sleeping, she had her first all sleepy all-nighter while we were there! Of course, that could be from all the wine I drank that night. Come to think of it, maybe she did wake up? Hmm...
Anyway, she's quite a trooper shlepping around town with me. Of course, she really had no choice cause she can't stay at the hotel by herself, but she seemed to have a great time! Here's some photos from our trip...

First stop... Radio City...
David was taping there so we stopped by for a little visit...

We also went to the Disney store where we met
the little Mermaid Ariel and Prince... uh...
Edward, I think? Personally I thought she
should have been in a mermaid outfit but
here she was as a princess. Clearly, Ever
wasn't impressed. In fact, I had to wake her
just to take the picture.
(Juls, if you give me a
picture of Carly, I can photoshop
her into a shot with Ariel!!)

Then we went to Bloomingdales.
Again, Ever wasn't that impressed. And quite frankly,
neither was I. I think it was probably more fun
when it was only in NY, but now that there's
Bloomingdales everywhere the novelty has
worn off a bit. Not to mention that I'm still
too fat to fit into anything!! I really wanted
this really cool pair of jeans with skulls on
the back pockets, too! But HAHA! I don't think so.

Oh, and speaking of being too fat,
I tried on those "skinny black pants" at the GAP!
and AAAAAAahahahahahaha! Let me just say that
there is nothing skinny about the skinny black pants.
I think shopping is off the list for at least another 20 pounds...

Then I had one of these touristy monogram picture things
done for Ever...
I had one made for cousin Carly, too...
You can see it sorta sideways in the back.
They were bigger than I thought though so they're coming back on the production truck cause I couldn't carry them. They won't be here for a week or so. I figure nothing will EVER have EVER's name already printed on it so I gotta have it made where I can.

Although we did make it out for some long walks every day,
we managed to get plenty of R&R in the hotel... we had a great
time laughing and talking. Ever had quite a bit to say this week.

Don't look at my large belly.
People kept asking me if I was
pregnant again! That's just sad.

Don't worry, I'm almost done...
Here we are at Il Vagabondo, Ever is having a
great time with her Pop, like always.

This is David's favorite place to eat in NY
and he's been going there for about 25 years
and they know him there, even year after year.
This is his buddy, Jasper who runs the place.

It's a great Italian place, run by Italians and it's been around for ages and ages...

This next photo was obviously taken way back when, but they still have this baci ball court in the restaurant with tables along side.

Here's David and Ever on the court...

It seems the last game played was a tie between the Jews and the Italians...

My main reason for going on this trip was to show off
the little bunny to the relatives so last but definately
not least, are photos of the relatives...

Here's Ever with her cousin Josh...

and Uncle Manny and Aunt Lani...

They invited us over for dinner, which was
delicious (Thanks, Lani!) and we had a great
time laughing with Ever and watching her try
to turn over. She almost made it too!
I hope we didn't stay too late... I know
everyone was pretty tired by the time we left
but it was great to see them and it doesn't happen
too often so hope we didn't overstay our welcome!

Oh, and here's a shot of their cat Maggie. Far be it
from me to leave out a shot of a critter!!

That's all folks!
Until the next post...
Mom and Dad, hope your having a great time on vacation!!
