Well Gobble Gobble and a little break dancing for me...
And cutting potatoes, of course.
This is how Thanksgiving weekend started for me. And it got far more interesting...
I got to see my WHOLE Las Vegas family again this year, but THIS time I was actually old enough to stay awake and have some fun!!!
Started out the day with some CHEEEESE!!!
Well,
cream cheese,
anyway.
The party is at my Aunt Linda and Uncle Paul's house!!
I don't know how many hours (or days) Aunt Linda stays up to prep for this shin-dig but I don't think my Mommy has EVER stayed up that many hours in her life. Or cooked as much food!!
And this year I didn't even have to nap!! Which is good cause this is THE Thanksgiving party of the year and I didn't want to miss a thing!! There's nothing like it anywhere, I guarantee it!!
I was very excited to see my sis, Devon (even if I gave her the cold shoulder for a while)!!!
And my cousin, Toniann!!
And my cousin Jaime starting the party off right.
Yayyy! Here's Nanna Dotty!!
And here's Nanna and Daddy doing that one-eyed thing. Now I know where he gets it.
Me and Daddy!
Here's Grandpa Sunny!!
And Aunt Nancy and Uncle Michael and Abby, their dog.
Abby looks like she's growling in this photo!! Hm, shocker.
Devon with cousin Keith!!
Cousins Joey and Jaime!!
And here's my cousin Tyler!!
Making faces with Cousin Lindsay.... at least I think she's my cousin....
Taa daa!! Uncle Doug!!
And my uncle Micheal and his fiancé Tracey!!
And sorry for all the cousins and aunts and uncles and relatives and friends who I didn't have photos of (unless they're on Daddy's camera and I'll add them in) like Travis, Mindy, Joe and Annette, Anita, DaLinda and Aly, just to name a very very few... there were so many awesome people there!! I'll do better next year... I promise!!
When we were done hanging around, it was time for dinner!!!
Everyone found a spot at one of the tables...
Aunt Linda put all the food out... and talk about a feast!! In addition to the 4 turkeys and ham, and the traditional Thanksgiving stuff, like stuffing and mashed potatoes and baked yams and yams with marshmallows and rolls, there was also baked zitti and eggplant parmesan and every kind of vegetable you can think of and several salads and pasta salad and... and... and... well, you name it, they made it!!
There was also, um, onions? Anyone, anyone for an onion??
Okay, well, let's move on to the deserts...
Apple pie (several), pumpkin pie, pecan pie (several), murange pie, cake, connoli's, pastries, chocolate chip cookies (7 batches, I might add), and jeez, what am I forgetting...???
Just in case anyone was looking for the cookies...
After dinner (well, during dinner) we all gathered around for THE photo!!
So, here we all are!!!
And then the fun really begins...
The Thanksgiving... um... chicken(?) showed up..
We played foozball...
We played bubba shoes...
We played baci ball...
I sat on the swing with Sophia...
We had the fire going... here's Chad and Uncle Doug.
Connoli's were consumed...
And some of us even napped.
And speaking of napping, it was time for me to go to bed.
Aunt Linda gave me a kiss goodnight...
Devon and Toniann gave me a big splash as I left...
And then I missed the splits contest!! DARN!!
That's Toniann and Aly...
And Anita and Doug...
And the last thing I remember that night was Daddy coming back to the hotel room at 6am.
We stopped by for a quick goodbye before we drove home...
There was a small mass of bodies crashed on the inside...
And another small body crashed outside.
Poor Jelly definitely had a busy night with me chasing her around and stuff.
I did get to see Nanna Dotty's special rendition of "Singin' in the Rain" before I left though...
And we played a quick game of foozball...
I watched Dan skateboarding...
I kissed Jelly goodbye...
...and into the car we went where I talked and talked and sang and talked and screamed and talked and cried and sang and talked and screamed and screamed and screamed for the next five hours til we got home.
I hope all of you had as much fun on Thanksgiving as I did!!
Just wait til next year! I'll be 3, you know.
